Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Zuff Labs, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company doing business as SelectDub (“SelectDub,” “we,” “us”). By submitting a video or otherwise using SelectDub, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use SelectDub for a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States, Canada, or Mexico to use SelectDub.

SelectDub is in early access. We review each submission and may accept or decline any request at our discretion. We will contact you before any work begins to confirm details, including any fees. No fees apply unless you agree to them in writing. We do not guarantee turnaround times while the service is in early access.

“Your content” means the videos, links, instructions, and other material you submit. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You own it, or you have all the rights and licenses needed to submit it and to have it translated, dubbed, and distributed in other languages.
• You have the consent of every identifiable person who appears or speaks in it to use their voice and likeness, including to create a version in which their speech is translated and reproduced in another language with an AI-generated voice. For anyone under 18, you have the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
• Your content and your use of the translated version comply with all applicable laws.

You are responsible for your content and for how you use the translated video.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, process, translate, and modify your content, and to create, store, and deliver translated versions of it, only as needed to provide SelectDub to you. This includes sharing it with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except where we must keep it to comply with the law. As between you and us, you own the translated video, subject to any rights others hold in the original content.

You may not use SelectDub to submit or create content that:

• Infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Impersonates a real person, or misleads people into believing someone said something they did not say.
• Involves the sexual exploitation of minors, or any non-consensual intimate content.
• Harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes violence or hatred against any person or group.
• Is intended to deceive voters or to commit fraud or other illegal activity.

You also may not try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our service. We may decline, remove, or report content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

SelectDub uses artificial intelligence to translate and dub videos. AI-generated translations and voices may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and results depend on the quality of the source audio, the languages involved, and other factors. You should review every translated video before you publish or rely on it. Where a law or platform requires you to disclose that content is AI-generated or altered, you are responsible for doing so.

We deliver translated videos through private download links that expire. Please download your video promptly. We delete videos after the period described in our Privacy Policy, and we are not responsible for keeping copies after that.

If you believe content processed through SelectDub infringes your copyright, email support@selectdub.com with: your contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; a description of the material you believe infringes it and where it is located; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We may stop serving customers who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.

SelectDub is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that translations will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zuff Labs, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of SelectDub. Our total liability for any claim relating to SelectDub is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.

You agree to defend and indemnify Zuff Labs, LLC against any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of translated videos, or your breach of these Terms, including any claim that you lacked the rights or consents described in section 4.

You may stop using SelectDub at any time and ask us to delete your information. We may suspend or stop providing the service to you if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue SelectDub. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnity, survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Passaic County, New Jersey, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the laws of your province, state, or country, including in Quebec. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date. Changes apply to submissions made after the update. If you keep using SelectDub after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
